SUNDAY NOVEMBER 3 2002 TEATRO DELL'ARCILIUTODaniela Romacker wins international competition Daniela Romacker, a German violinist who lives in Rome, has won the first prize in the 10th Torneo Internazionale di Musica which started back in Rome in 1991 and was held in France this year. 385 musicians from 68 countries in 12 sections took part in the event. Daniela Romacker, accompanied on the piano by Mario Cavaceppi, performed original arrangements and compositions of both gypsy and semi-classical music. And now this show of extraordinary virtuosity will be put on at the Teatro dell'Arciliuto in Rome.
